NICKELOS IS NOT A KIDS TV SHOW

Nickel…
Nickelos…
No, it’s not a kids tv programme…
It’s a word you can only learn in France, and it means ok, cool, alright, perfect, and a bunch of other things…

So one day I receive a little message by the lovely Delphine asking me if I want to be part of this year’s NICKELOS FEST! I say yes instantly but I wasn’t sure what that would mean…it meant a lot! It meant going to the west coast of France, getting onto a 3 day trip of music and friends and nature and sea and wild wild moments of dance and trance! It meant as well doing a mythological concert with my dear friend Hoel “Yeun Elez”after some other concerts around France! That felt otherworldly! It meant meeting some lovely people and feeling all the time we were all there, together to fight reality in our own terms and tricks and sounds! A sonic bunker against all odds! It meant delicious food made with love and a sense of collectiveness that felt like we could survive apocalypse right there!
It meant the world as well cause I got to discover a bands like Paradisia or to hear Delphine’s rather surprising dj set! And everyone was love, lovely, lovable!
Such a nice feeling sharing with everybody in such easy way. It’s the kind of situation that makes it very clear that when you communicate through music, there is no language barrier, only sonic understanding!

Long live Nickelos! Forever yours!
